I cannot see any way to add photos to posts on this website.
A few other people also seem to have this problem.
Can anyone tell me who this question should be addressed to?

Other file hosting sites are similar. (Note: You wont see the image until you post your message/topic) It has to be on a picture sharing website like photobucket or imgur and then you pop in the link between [img]...[/img] These are " baby" steps. Once you have done it a few times it is just a couple of mouse clicks. Stewie Re: Adding photos to posts 3Dec 19, 2014 10:23 pm Thanks Stewie, but I have never seen anything so complicated in my life. Will have to give this forum a miss. I have posted numerous photos on Trading post and Gumtree which are so intuitive. This whole website is a problem. Re: Adding photos to posts 4Dec 19, 2014 11:06 pm Might be a problem for you, but is a great resource of information to me. This is a forum, not a site to sell items with photos. Re: Adding photos to posts 5Dec 19, 2014 11:35 pm I am not trying to sell anything. I am trying to remove a toilet seat and WD-40 will not shift it, so I took some photos of the bolts underneath and wanted to show them so people could advise me how to proceed. I can't even find a nut. The unit is Villeroy and Boch so I think it might be a bit different from the standard. I thought a lot of the problems on this forum could be better explained with photos and it wouldn't be a bad idea to make it easy to upload them. I cited those other websites only as examples of simple ways to upload photos. Re: Adding photos to posts 6Dec 20, 2014 7:08 am As I mentioned already it is pretty easy. I've just shown you all the steps. Most regular forum members here can upload a photo with their eyes closed and most internet forums have a similar process. You just upload a photo to a third party site like photobucket or imgur then find the IMG tag, then copy and paste that here. Stewie Re: Adding photos to posts 7Dec 21, 2014 6:03 pm I agree jackie99 that's a very unintuitive forum platform but it is what it is. I gave up on photo bucket as I couldn't bothered string around and uploading photos to hAve to copy and paste an image link to homeone. If you have a smartphone I found it much easier to just download the free tapatalk app. Where you can attach a photo straight from your library of photos to your post, but it might still be a bit much effort for one use of this site. Re: Adding photos to posts 8Dec 21, 2014 10:55 pm Thank you Beazley77. It is nice to get a kind word. I am elderly and self-taught. I got as far as getting the photos onto the clipboard (never understood what a clipboard was before) but couldn't copy them to this forum. My mobile isn't a smart-phone so I will either try again or find another forum that might have a simple way to upload photos. I understand that this forum is not meant to instruct people how to use it, so did not want to waste anyone's time. ps. Love the way Photobucket shows me different ways to frame my photos of my toilet seat LOL Re: Adding photos to posts 9Dec 22, 2014 8:15 am Jackie99, do you have those photos on photobucket already ? You are half way there ! Instead of the method I pointed you to, you can just give us the html link for that photobucket web page ( up the top like this page here viewtopic.php?f=1&t=75002&p=1283004#p1283004 ). If you copy and paste that into your post here we can click on it and view the photos. Just another way... Stewie Re: Adding photos to posts 10Dec 22, 2014 11:13 pm http://i95http://i95.photobucket.com/al ... .jpg9e.jpg I hope you can see these photos. The first one is the under-side of the spare toilet, which is OK. The next is the one I am trying to remove and nothing will budge it, incl. WD40. The 3rd is showing the top. I thought maybe I could take off the plastic covers to see if a screwdriver could be used to hold the bolt steady while I try to loosen the bolt Sorry to bother all you guys. I might have to get a plumber. I can get a screwdriver to lever apart the plastic cover but didn't want to risk it in case I broke something. Don't know if you handle this kind of thing here but any help would be appreciated. Re: Adding photos to posts 11Dec 23, 2014 5:55 am You haven't copied the link address properly. This is what I get when I click on it - "Firefox can't find the server at http://www.i95http.com". Here is a link to one on my photobucket library... http://s1212.photobucket.com/user/stewi ... 4597199559 Note the address at the top. That is what you should be copying and pasting here. I took your link above and pasted it into a text editor to decipher it and pasted them back here... Take a small wire brush and try to remove as much of the rust as possible before you attempt to unscrew the bolt. This is easier said than done however and in a confined space like is shown is equivalent to plumbers yoga. Stewie Hey, I am wanting to add a second toilet to my house, bit we have limited room.
