Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Urban Edge Homes sidecost 2Dec 02, 2014 9:40 pm Hi Selina. I assume you mean site costs rather than side costs?? Depends on your soil test, slope of land etc. You need to find out exactly what each builder is allowing for in their site costs. Builder 1 could be quoting based on H soil classification whilst Builder 2 might only allow for M classification. Once you know exactly what each site costing includes, you can compare apples to apples and see which builder is giving you the better deal. Site costs are one thing you dont want to sell yourself short on. However if you are getting exactly the same inclusions in the two site costings, then of course makes sense to save yourself 5k. But if the extra 5k takes into consideration more factors in your site costs, then its money well spent IMO Dale - Building Newbie Proserpine, QLD Hi All, We are building in Maitland and considering between Vision Homes or New Edge Homes (part of Masterton).
