I'm about to renew our home / contents insurance and looking at getting a better price then the renewal offered. I have found a lot of companies refuse to insure a free standing home that is under a community title. They will only offer contents and not the actual dwelling. Any ideas why this is? Secondly, Can anyone suggest a good insurance company that they have experience with insuring a community title home? (Apparently community title is different to a strata title but I'm not sure what the difference is) Thanks in advance.
