Thinking Centor S1 6Jul 01, 2015 12:15 pm Just an update - we eventually went with vertical blinds because of the cost issue - retracting screen are 2 to 3 times more expensive than vertical blinds. So far, 6 months in they are alright. There was an issue last month when the vertical blind was broken as it can't be pulled or pushed due to broken track - this seems to be an inherent problem for vertical blinds especially when you have a large one like ours with 2 meter drop and 3-4 meter span which is heavy and puts a lot of weight on the track itself. We now pull the blinds very very slowly and gently. "Occam's Razor.
