Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 06, 2014 8:07 pm We would NOT recommend State Demolition & Civil Works for demolition. They are not the cheapest company around and they certainly do not do a very good job. They had no care when they carried out the work to our property. They damaged the neighbours fence, damaged the council footpath (approx. $1500 worth of damage), left smashed glass on site, didn't remove all the rubbish from on site and the site was never levelled. We were on site at the time the damage was done to the neighbours fence and the footpath, it was clear they had no care (one worker moved a heavy truck when told not to, they knew the truck was too heavy for the footpath yet they still drove it up the drive etc). They demolished our house 3 weeks ago and still we're waiting to hear from the director about the damage, - it appears hes avoiding us now. Very unprofessional service.
