Thanks F4, it's usually not hard to find people wanting long term tenancy here though.
Just found out PCI is this afternoon. . .

Hope it all went well. They might have given you some notice though!! Re: Small custom rental build WA- last few pics 605Nov 10, 2015 9:26 pm Hey my comment on your fab door has disappeared (?) oh well ... Congrats on PCI Re: Small custom rental build WA- last few pics 606Nov 10, 2015 9:50 pm Oh, how exciting! How did PCI go? Re: Small custom rental build WA- almost done 607Nov 11, 2015 11:28 am We have 3 "items" to be addressed. 1. Full clean (cleaner was not available to be booked before PCI.) 2. Tag on gas bottles needed. 3. Laundry floor waste. That's it...it's so minor it boggles my mind! We are going to organize the concrete polishing, which saves us the builder's mark up. I've booked for a quote next week for window treatments. I'm thinking dual blinds (day/night) for bedrooms and at this stage either verticals or dual for sliding doors. Re: Small custom rental build WA- last few pics 608Nov 11, 2015 11:31 am Wow, that's awesome, well done! Those dual blinds look clever! Re: Small custom rental build WA- almost done 609Nov 11, 2015 2:33 pm OMG is that all!!!!! Keys by Friday then ??! Re: Small custom rental build WA- almost done 610Nov 11, 2015 2:48 pm Hmm not sure Nikki. Keys when cleaning's finished I should think?? Re: Small custom rental build WA- almost done 611Nov 11, 2015 4:33 pm Wow that's fantastic news - congratulations My build thread: Custom build on 40 acres viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75656 Re: Small custom rental build WA- almost done 612Nov 11, 2015 4:43 pm Congratulations Trees I'm so so pleased for you that list is non existent Re: Small custom rental build WA- almost done 614Nov 12, 2015 9:49 am Thanks everyone. The cleaner had a cancellation, so he will be cleaning the house today!! My builder sent me these photos of the finished frontage, shale grey garage door- I chose a minimal profile as I didn't want to make it a feature: http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b609/WestAussieforeva/behind%20the%20tealdoor_zpsk5kwejxx.jpg and the Ikea mirror installed in the main bath. It doubles as a shelf so its handy for a bit more storage space. http://i1294.photobucket.com/albums/b609/WestAussieforeva/mainbath_zpsyywzboau.jpg It's going to be very busy the next few weeks getting it all ready for occupancy. Re: Small custom rental build WA- almost done 617Nov 12, 2015 1:50 pm Hi Beazley, I always get confused with the terminology. It's polished concrete, but not the exposed agg version where you have it honed ? down. We had the slab coloured with 4% charcoal dye. Re: Small custom rental build WA- almost done 619Nov 12, 2015 3:42 pm Excellent mirror, wish I'd thought of a shelf for my own guest bathroom now! Curious to know What method are you using to cover up slot holes in the bottom of the metal door frames or do your door frames not have the low slot holes that normally have those metal stays in them to keep them plumb during the build? DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Follow up question - any ideas on how to set up a portable air conditioner through this kind of window? 1 6235 I'd get the gutters to match your roof and pipes to match the paint - otherwise they become a feature. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 34269 |
