Why would the house designer on a 2 level house with the south side as the rear, make internal service ducts for piping instead of simply extending them to the external rear south wall where they are not seen anyhow?
Is there an Australian standard about piping (from bathroom) that it must be internalised?
Won't the costs be higher to internalise the piping (passing through a wardrobe for e.g.)
as well as pipe or bond failure say 20/25 years down the track making an issue?
I will ask him but would like some understanding before I do so. Any discussion on the topic and the chap as he already has done is going to wound me financially.
Thanks
