Re: anyone know where I can get threaded pipe 4Oct 12, 2014 10:04 am Some of the larger local steel merchants may but you may also have to buy a full length. Local engineering shops maybe ? I bought a couple of lengths years ago for my pipe clamps from a demolition yard. One had a screw thread on one end and the other didn't. A mate who is a fitter and turner did the other one in a few minutes. Stewie Re: anyone know where I can get threaded pipe 5Oct 12, 2014 11:10 am You could try a place that does fire sprinklers. I'm pretty sure they use 3/4 pipe and they are set up to run the threads. They may have lengths laying around. You only need one end done. The other option is somewhere like Carbatec I'm pretty sure they sell lengths of pipe already threaded for pipe clamps, though they may not be long enough.
