Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 25, 2014 9:54 am Drove past our block of land over the weekend only to be surprised to see that Eden Brae has completely fenced of our block of land as well as the neighboring one. They probably are building for the block next to us but why enclose ours?
Is this normal and that too without any consent from us? Anything to worry about? Anyone else had similar issues? Will be calling them later today to find out. This is at Ridgeline 5 at The Ponds. Thanks. Edit: sorry for being unclear..we are not building with Eden Brae, our neighbors probably are. Why take over our land? Update: just called up the supervisor for the build. he had no idea that 2 blocks were fenced off instead of just the one..he said "hmm thats odd" and that he will look into it.. They'll have a locked gate so the trades can come and go. Stewie Re: Eden Brae has fenced off our block of land completely! w 4Aug 25, 2014 12:15 pm Stewie D Yes - for security. Marmalade maybe they are worried about someone stealing the slab so shouldn't they keep it all in the block they are building in and not take over the neighbouring lot? Strictly speaking yes. But maybe they avoided the side fence so they can use your land as a storage area - be careful if they do, may people have come to grief with property damage from earthmoving equipment, dumping, form neighbouring builds. Actually, don't do that. Just politely tell them to remove the fence from your property.
