You paint it on, wait 15 mins, then remove the excess with a wet cloth and some elbow grease- otherwise you are left with a white residue on the tiles. I used a soft toothbrush. And I used a mask as well as all windows, doors open, ceiling fans etc on. I haven't fully done the kitchen because it is so fumey- I just did the splashback as I have large white subway tiles and a feature tile. . .
