Wanting to increase the privacy in our backyard so looking at putting lattice that screws into a wooden fence. Does anyone know if there are regulations to doing this? height/material etc.

Certainly in Victoria on a boundary you can exceed 2m in height on a boundary fence for up to 10m plus 25% of the remaining length of that boundary. No stipulation on materials or construction so knock yourself out and go crazy. Completed a knock down and rebuild in northern Melbourne. Handover completed 27/09/2013 and now moved in.
