Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 12, 2014 11:01 pm My husband and I are having a robust debate weather we should close off one of the doors from our hall to our lounge, Originally there was a lounge and a dining room leading from the hallway, we have removed the dividing wall to create an open plan living setup with the dining/kitchen/living areas as one, but now there is a door from the hall at the front of the house and a door to the old dining at the rear. My question is do we need 2 doors to the one open plan living area or would it be ok to close one?. If we close the rear doorway we could create a study nook where the door was....if we do close the rear door in we will have a dead end hallway where as currently it's an open flow.
