Have 2 walls, 1.5m by 2.65m high, and a ceiling which is 1m x 2m. Cornice is about 20m. The quote came to be almost 2.5k. Should be much less than $2.5k. A days work, plus another half day to sand. Don't diy plaster if you haven't the experience. Will look pretty crap especially as you're trying to join old and new plasterboards.
