Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 27, 2014 11:14 am I'm not sure if this is the right place but thought would let people know that there is a safety recall on Infinity brand (and Olsent) electrical cable used in new homes and renovations during 2012 and 2013. The cable does not meet Aust standards and could degrade in ambient temperature causing shocks and fires. Please check recall notice on recalls.gov.au and contact builder or supplier if you think you may be affected. It is a national recall. I have contacted my homebuilder to see whether I need to be concerned and encourage anyone who built or renovated to do the same.
