Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Aug 25, 2014 10:09 pm Hey team! Im currently building a wooden fence outside and I'm looking at getting a nail gun. I recently purchased a Bosch 18V Blue kit and I'm looking at getting the GSK 18 V-LI Nail gun: http://www.bunnings.com.au/bosch-profes ... y_p6270381] From what i can find on the net they call this a Finishing gun which all I can see is used for trim/skirting board and internal projects. Is this something I can use outside or am I better looking for something different. Thanks for your help guys and sorry if its a dumb question! Depending on the size of the job it might be more economical to get a better non cordless gun. Creator of superduperonium, expert at expert things, nobel laureate, can hold my breath for 10 minutes. Just not sure if that'll work for putting up a fence. Of course, as Ponzu has suggested a non-cordless framing nailer might be a better choice. Owner Building at Jimboomba Woods in Logan City Qld. Pro gyprockers with their cordless screwguns ( or any other trade that uses cordless heavily ) usually have another battery charging while they use the first. Most of the fencers I know use a 45x2.5mm screw shank coil nail. Most of the fencers I know use a 45x2.5mm screw shank coil nail. That makes sense to me. Even a framing nailer at a slight angle from perpendicular to the fence might be a reasonable alternative, although the only non-air hose option is a Paslode, and they ain't cheap last time I looked.
