We have had continuous problems for the last 3yrs where we lose internet and being as we dont have access to the cabinet (key locked) primus have told us to turn it off from the metre box to reset modem in cabinet but twice in the two weeks we have lost the net for 24hrs reseting isnt resolving issue and yesterday it went again. On all our device's its showing the internet symbol as connected but unstable. Primus have said its not their end so we are waiting for estate to call us to see if they can fix.

Iprimus is quite right, PV is responsible for it. They are quick response these days, unlike in the past. Just wait till they come and investigate for you. Not much you can do. Re: aurora estate fibre issues 4Aug 21, 2014 1:43 pm techno74 Well its been 48hrs no phone call from pv but Internet back on again see how long we get this time before we lose it again. Quite often if PV can fix it remotely, they will only pass the message back to Iprimus, and it'll take days for Iprimus to follow it up. So looks like yours fixed. Re: aurora estate fibre issues 5Jan 13, 2015 12:45 pm im having the same problem and it's driving me crazy! For the past 3 months Internet has been dropping out, 2-3 times a week, sometimes a couple hours, sometimes longer than 24 hrs. Rang iprimus countless times, gone through the drill of plugging different computers directly to different wall sockets. The most frustrating thing is I get told "our end is showing you are connected", with my only defence being there is no usage over the whole day. I've been handball-ed between iprimus and PV with either side saying it's not our problem. Switched to iiNet to see if there's improvement and got disconnection on the first day.sigh....... Techno74: are you still experiencing the same problem? How frequent? And what's reset button you were talking about, is it located outside the fiber box, iprimus never told me that.
