I'm just not sure that many home builds would have solid and level enough ground to operate one. However, if that was not an issue, it'd be great to have one to use in a build, as you could operate at many different levels that you can't do with plain old scaffolding. They have stabilizers that level it out - I've seen them on dirt and rubble but nothing too rough I had an old shower unit that broke on me and when I took it off, there were only 2 water pipes, instead of the normal 2 water pipes and a shower head pipe.
