Hi
We are just about to paint the exterior weatherboard of our house in Perth.
We are keeping the terracotta tile roof and the extension of the roof out the back will be in Colorbond Headland so as to stay in the same colour range as the existing roof.
I’m torn about what colour to paint the house. Originally I liked the idea of a dark grey with white trim. But after experiencing a hot summer, think maybe the dark grey is just going to be too hot.
House paint colour: Brisk, like this: http://m.valspar.com.au/colour-selector ... =bp&id=773 (but don’t plan on using Valspar paint)
I’m thinking:
Gutters – shale grey
Fascia – crisp white
Downpipes – shale grey
Do you think this would work?
I think I prefer grey weatherboards, rather than anything creamy.
My issue is whether the house should be light grey with dark trim around windows etc, or mid strength grey with sharp white trim.
If you could help that would be fabulous.
Thanks
