I asked Good guys and they said the trim kit is available for the microwave i have at home and then they said maybe a cabinetry person can install. Does anyone have any contacts or more info regarding this.I live in Brisbane West/Ipswich Thanks in advance. Re: microwave and stainless steel trim kit installation afte 2Jun 26, 2014 7:51 am hi i have a blanco microwave and it can with a trim kit as it took long for builder to arrive to fit i gave it a go myself instructions are there and it will fit easy and i am no handy person. there are a few screws at bottom . mine was a steel trim too. when my builder can i just asked him to check it and all was fine . My other question left is will the microwave space left by the builder correct size for my panasonic microwave and the stainless steel trim kit or should i liase with the builder to make sure it fits that particular size. The trim kit was an optional extra for our microwave. You would need to give the builder the dimensions for the microwave as we found there are lots of different size microwaves (ours is way smaller than we wanted - an oversight on our behalf) We paid our builder to install ours we should of saved our $$$ whoever installed it clearly had no idea what he was doing lol I could of done a better job myself. Ours even came with a template to use to drill all the screw holes here's some pictures for you and the front just clicks on.
