Wattyl and Solver paint

Hi all. Wasn't sure where to post this but when we were choosing our colours at the builders showroom, the colour we chose was "Spirit Grey" and it was on the Wattyl wall. When I go to find the colour, it's actually a Solver colour.

So my question is, is there a quality difference between Wattyl and Solver? Is it the same company but different Quality product?

I always thought solver was a cheap industrial paint that painters used.

Thanks in advance

As we found out, do not use the solver Velvetsheen. it is not washable as claimed and when washed shows all the wash marks. We are going to do a repaint after 18 months with maxiwash as a result.
The solver maxiwash is good. Had it in the last place and it lasted very well.
Good to know but we aren't using that thankfully

Thankyou so much 😀 I've decided on White on white for doors and trims, White on white 50% on ceiling and Mt buller for walls. Fingers crossed it will look OK 😀

Thank you. That is really helpful. Once we get the place done and passed for OC we can upgrade in the future once we get back on our feet and not paying mortgage and rent.
