Best I could do was a couple during construction and one that kinda shows it when complete. If you guys want I can take a few more detailed pics this weekend though. Door is a Bradnam's Signature Series. http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/ff371/travispegg/Morehead%20Avenue/Recesseddoor2_zps5cb88157.jpg http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/ff371/travispegg/Morehead%20Avenue/Recesseddoor1_zpsa2fc13fe.jpg http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/ff371/travispegg/Morehead%20Avenue/indooroutdoor1_zps3aa34a73.jpg http://i1232.photobucket.com/albums/ff371/travispegg/Morehead%20Avenue/WEB_IMG_8817_zps97c22ddb.jpg Re: Alfresco same level as inside of house 43Jun 27, 2014 6:37 pm You might like to have a look at this thread as well: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=9817 Built with WBN in WA Slab down 16 Aug 2013, Handover 16 April 2014, Moved in 2 June 2014 Our house build thread Re: Alfresco same level as inside of house 44Jun 27, 2014 10:41 pm cameronandmiranda You might like to have a look at this thread as well: http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=9817 Cheers! Re: Alfresco same level as inside of house 46Sep 17, 2015 8:42 pm Hi I have a question re this topic. Does anyone know what the building reg is re this in Victoria. We want to have a seamless transition inside to out due to our daughters medical requirements and am wondering what the legal drop down is. We've been told 85mm. Thanks Re: Alfresco same level as inside of house 47Oct 05, 2015 7:57 am Hi guys, Throwing my 2C in. My house in construction has a single level lounge/alfresco area. For certification 2 things were needed, a drain the width of the door to stop water ingress to the house, (which my builder has been extremely innovative to create, he has cut a channel, installed large bolts into the slab, had some U sections of metal fabricated (about 1m long each) and they sit with the flat side up. He is then going to tile on top of them to create a "smart drain" type system on a large scale.) The second thing required for certification up here was a Mowing strip around the outside of the alfresco area. This is purely for termite protection Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ isn't a garage level with the rest of the house a given? pretty sure they 'came around' long time ago. if you have a flat block, the garage is usually level with the rest… 1 17518 they can, it's a fairly standard solution when the slab isn't recessed. the falls need to be in the main floor, if it hasn't been done then you need to ask them to redo… 4 6580 interesting situation what happened after builder issued final invoice? did you list as defect or not does the building surveyor have any responsibility? ie. issuing… 13 46956 |
