Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jun 01, 2014 6:30 pm So we have paid a deposit for a land that was subdivided in Kellyville. we were initially told registration would be march-april but they had some electrical issues. Today as we drove past the area, the lamp posts in the land were all lit up. This would be mean electricity is now available. does this mean land is almost ready for registration? is there a tell tale sign usually for those with experience? Excitement is slowly rising! Re: When do you know if the Land is ready to be registered! 2Jun 01, 2014 6:53 pm Lamp posts are usually a pretty good indication that the construction side is very close to being finished, but sometimes the paperwork side can also be a hold up to being sent to LPI for registration. It generally takes 3-4 weeks once it has been sent to LPI for registration but it sounds like you a pretty close. Can you chase the developer for more information? Subdivision can involve lots of issues and problems at any stage. Whomever sold you the block should have their finger on the progress and completion date.
