Browse Forums General Discussion 1 May 19, 2014 9:55 am Hello Guys, We have one of those water efficient toilets in our just renovated bathroom– and I just find there isn't enough water when flushing. The tradie has installed this one : JohnsonSuisse Plaza Plus Vitreous China cistern and toilet seat 4.5 litre per full flush 3 litre per half flush 3.4 litre avg flush like this : http://www.gemini-industries.net/inv_ds ... cordid=158 Here is the water level in cistern : http://imgur.com/EM58pAl Total height : 31cm Water Filled till : 17.5cm Not sure of this water level is correct? OR some other problem causing not enough water when flushing. What do you think? Thanks Re: Efficient toilets - not enough water problem :( 2May 19, 2014 10:01 am Hi It looks like cistern float is set too low (it regulates how much water is stored) however it is adjustable and if you are handy you can do it or call the plumber and get him to fix it. Agree. The overflow looks low too but that might be an optical illusion. Adjusting the float valve is easy but I assume that a plumber installed this. That then begs the question; Why didn't the plumber test it after installing it? It would have taken less than a minute. 3in1 Supadiverta. Rainwater Harvesting Best Practice using syphonic drainage.
