I just remembered, Paula, I love that artwork b/c I nearly bought something very similar in Noosa when we were there in May, but decided not to, as we'll be back there in November, and hopefully t he house will be finished, and I can buy it then and put it straight in! My, what great taste you have!!!!!!!!!!! I'll have to post a photo of whateveer I end up buying now! Do you want mine??????? Its causing me a bit of grief - I need a longer hall table!!!! Cant wait to see what you bring back from Noosa - a girlfriend goes up all the time and raves about this one art shop. New curtains installed. Don't get a shock when you see the old ones they are quite hideous OLD Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ NEW - note that the wall colour is a soft latte not the purple that is showing on my screen. There is a roller blind behind. As it is quite close to the fence, the sheer hides it nicely. I have found a new home for the hall table - will look for a longer one to put in the entry below that art. Where it is now is a little hall all in its own, and looks like it belongs there. Now when I look at the photos, it looks a little lost, but in real life it looks great. (dont tell me otherwise as I dont want to change it ) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ In the niche I have a nice long photo frame that will not interfere with the table. You see the white tub chair?? Well it was delivered, and that day DD sat on the arm and broke the frame So its gone back - waiting to see if they will replace it or repair it. Thats why its in one photo and not the other. Still want to get rid of the columns...they are just not me. Love those coloured things in the vase - they are gorgeous! Love the tub chair too - gorgeous home you are creating for yourself My karma ran over your dogma Re: My house - new home for hall table 308Jul 29, 2008 6:51 pm It's all looking great and coming together nicely Paula. I love sheers! I bought five sets of white sheers from New York via Ebay, I think I'd like the same set up as your DD for the bedrooms but I need total block out with no gaps! I love a dark room to sleep in and don't like the kids rooms to bright in the morning.
I like the hall table where it is now too Happy at Home Re: My house - new home for hall table 310Jul 29, 2008 10:23 pm Looks perfect Paula.
Love your vases... and oh, just noticed... we'll be having the same door profile! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Built the Nevada 42 Next project - landscaping! Re: My house - new home for hall table 311Jul 30, 2008 8:49 am Rachelle It looks great there! Didn't you have that artwork above the buffet though? Rachelle the art above the buffet is still there - this is one of the two I had together when the wall was green, remember? Thanks everyone - the table is there to stay, no more changing my mind! I'd seriously doubt whether they are "structural", maybe some of the builders on here could provide advice as to whether these types of columns are merely show or do anything useful - like hold a beam up. I'm glad to hear you say you don't like them....didn't think you were the Grecian type.... mmm....donuts Homer Simpson 1956- Links: Site Costs Ready Reckoner | H1 Addiction Medical Advice | Château TDL: The Backyard Re: My house - new home for hall table 313Jul 30, 2008 11:08 am to_do_list Paula Still want to get rid of the columns...they are just not me. I'm glad to hear you say you don't like them....didn't think you were the Grecian type.... I've had a builder friend look at them - he doesn't think they are structural. The issue will be with the floor tiles - what is holding them on, I have one small tile I found in the garage, and need to go and see if I can get more if the ones under the columns need to be replaced when the columns come out. I have 8 columns by the way - thought I'd throw a toga party before they go as they would look really nice with Ivy wrapped around them Paula I have a really long hallway which is 1100mm W x 11500mm L I would appreciate if anyone can give suggestions to light it up with Linear LED lights that goes from wall to… 0 8814 Hi, Really struggling to find some consistency amongst Span Tables, can anyone help… 0 2666 Yes well there solution is to blame everyone else while I a 65yr old woman with major medical problems have to just continue to boil water and wash myself in a bucket… 2 16014 |
