Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 29, 2014 10:08 pm Hi All, We have recently had handover of our new house and noticed on the first night in the house circles that have appeared over all the ceilings inside and out, At first it looked like a water stain however all the circles are perfectly alined along the house i am not sure what it is! Any advice? i have shown pictures to my builder and they are going to have the plasterer come out and inspect my only issue is that its only noticeable once its dark and a light shines on it. I really hope they can fix as everyone that has been to the house has commented on it and is really noticeable at night. Circles in plasterboard!! 3Apr 30, 2014 1:44 pm Looks like it wasn't sanded properly before they painted it. Owner Building on 1800sqm Sanity Intact so far Locked up March 2012 Re: Help! Circles in plasterboard!! 5May 11, 2014 7:11 pm It's where the screws have been patched and not sanded perfectly flat. If it only shows at night under artificial light then technically it's not a defect. It will all come down to whether te builder wants to do something about it. Thank you alexp79 and gommeqld for your advice, that's very helpful, thanks 3 6104 What we have done in a few theatres ( including my own) is run 2 layers of 13mm gyprock, but sounds insulation especially for the bass is really tricky as a lot of that… 4 1652 Hi guys, Painters or anyone who has experience applying Zinsser Bin (shellac based) help and advice is appreciated I have used two thick coats of Zinsser bin to block… 0 3720 |
