Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Apr 28, 2014 2:57 pm I'm looking for 40m2 of decking timber in Sydney - wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good timber yard My requirements are that I get to go in person to choose the sticks. I want to pick the non-bent long ones myself and have them put it aside in a bundle for home delivery - know of any places that will have enough on-hand stock for me to do this? I don't care if it means the cost is more. Re: Decking timber in Sydney - where? 2Apr 28, 2014 3:11 pm I've used Wayne's World in botany a few times for merbau but he has a range of stuff - its a small timber yard with good service, ask to speak to Wayne. http://camdenbuild.blogspot.com.au/ by invite only please pm me Re: Decking timber in Sydney - where? 4Apr 30, 2014 10:25 am Sorry I should've mentioned I'm in St George area, near Rockdale, but I'm willing to drive around anywhere pretty much. I'm particularly interested in places that have large inventory onhand so I may be able to choose sticks. Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10971 Engineering timber is certainly a less fuss option, times cheaper to supply and install and better withstands humidity. 1 15904 Use a product like Equisol's Vitalise to clean the deck then coat with a penetrating timber oil. It will look 10 years younger and add value to your home. Visit for… 1 15782 |
