It also depends on which brick you are using - some are worth a lot more per 1000 than others ( face bricks ) or whether you are going to render the outside in which case you'd use commons for both. I am specifically after double brick walls in Perth. Using the most economical brick, probably the plain common modular brick for render. Work out how many bricks you will need for the whole job then allow somewhere around $1.20 per mod. brick to lay ( last time I looked ) . All your other costs like sand/cement, lintels flashing etc are extras.
