Hi All,
How do I attach images - pictures of plans - to a post I am doing?
Thanks
Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Attaching images to posts 2Apr 23, 2014 1:48 pm I just worked this out myself, not sure if it's the best way, but it works. Load the images into Photobucket. Then copy the "direct" link from Photobucket. Then click the "img" button when composing a message and paste the link in between the two "img". Re: Attaching images to posts 3Apr 23, 2014 2:08 pm you are responsible for placing the images on line. ie facebook. photobucket, flicker, a blog etc. you then share the img link here. If the photo details should usually end with .jpg not html you are copying an address rather than the photo location. (Right click on photo once you have uploaded it and you can usually have the option to copy the photo location). You need img placed directly in front of the location information and /img placed directly after it both inside the following brackets-->[ ] You use "url " instead of "img" when wanting to create a link to another web page/website. viewtopic.php?f=70&t=1272&hilit=how+to+add+a+photo Re: Attaching images to posts 6Apr 23, 2014 4:36 pm Or if your just wanting to upload photos taken from your phone, just download the tapatalk app. Its by far the easiest way and great for reading the forums on too. You can either upload from your gallery or take a photo within the app to post - you don't need the premium version, the free one does it all. http://camdenbuild.blogspot.com.au/ by invite only please pm me Re: Attaching images to posts 7Apr 23, 2014 7:29 pm Robbie you still need to host them somewhere. Homeone doesn't host photos so are you suggesting using the tapatalk site to store them? It looks like the new version has it's own hosting spot for pics.I'm reluctant to join up/sign in to the new tapatalk ID demand that popped up. just because I wanted to add a pic to my post. Can you get it back from tapatalk if you wish to? Do you still hold copyright ownership of your photo once you've loaded it into/onto the tapatalk site? Can they on sell the image? I'm not saying they would nor am I saying other sites won't also do this but obviously if you take the pic within tapatalk you are not going to be able to watermark it( if that's your thing) However, must say for those who want a simple way to add photos it's certainly easy. Re: Attaching images to posts 10Apr 23, 2014 9:26 pm Sorry I see what you're getting at now. Not too fussed about the issues raised but can imagine many might. http://camdenbuild.blogspot.com.au/ by invite only please pm me Re: Attaching images to posts 11Apr 24, 2014 9:05 am I go to bucket photos you upload to bucket photos then click on the photo you want to post you should get a page like this Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ click on the box of the IMG Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ left click the link in the box and it should go yellow and say copied. now paste that on your post for homeone hope this helps DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Follow up question - any ideas on how to set up a portable air conditioner through this kind of window? 1 6241 I plan on installing an undercover walkway (awning ??) from my carport to the back door as shown in sketch.
