Construction of a retaining wall 1 m or more in height Yes Construction on or near site boundaries (any height) Yes I am wanting to build a treated pine retaining wall 800mm high approx 7m long and wanting to have it 500mm from the fence line. I currently don't have any neighbours. I am wanting to avoid paying for a building permit Can someone please clarify what "near site" boundaries means?
