Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Mar 20, 2014 8:46 pm Hi there We have a new build and will be having ALOT of polished concrete. We are wanting to use a zero VOC polishing system. Our concrete polisher uses Multi Clean products for the polish. I've trawled their web, datasheets and tried contacting them but can't find any info on their VOC levels. Does anyone know anything about the Multi Clean products or alternatively know of some other products that are zero VOC that I could suggest to our polisher? Thanks so much Louise Custom home build Mt Kembla, NSW Re: Polished Concrete - No VOC sealers 2Mar 21, 2014 9:07 am If I was your concreter I'd stick to the products I know so I could guarantee them. I'm betting that he'd be reticent about using something that the owner supplied or asked him to use. Concrete being a very benign product itself, I think once he has applied the polish and buffed it there would be very little remaining on the surface. I'd be interested in the outcome. Good luck and post back with what you use. Edit : There are a couple of pro concrete finishers that drop into these forums occasionally - onc_artisan is one, can't remember the other so maybe do a search and send him a PM ? Stewie To my understanding early saw cuts are to control shrinkage cracks, so doing them now would be pointless. Control joints may reduce ugly cracking during periods of soil… 3 9831 Hi all I need a guidance on how far I need to space expansion joints in the concrete driveway and its type (keyway/foam.) Contraction joints are at 3m max for a 125 slab. Thanks 0 10929 |
