Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 28, 2014 8:16 pm Hi All, Even though we have been 'working' on getting our new house build organised since settlement occurred, we still aren't even at plans at council stage and we are at the '25 weeks' since settlement time period. This means we only have one week until the time period runs out for claiming the $5000 rebate on stamp duty. Does anyone know how we go about extending the time period AND if they are flexible on this or not? I hate to throw $5000 away and would like to be able to get it, if possible. Thanks, in advance for any help with this! Re: Extending NSW Stamp Duty Rebate Time Period on Vacant La 3Mar 09, 2014 10:28 am Is this the new home grant?
