Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Feb 24, 2014 3:19 pm Hi all Is anyone else going to this? http://www.perthhomeshow.com.au/ I can't wait. Still at the dreaming stage, so I'm looking forward to getting lots of ideas. Hubby is thinking this will be a wake up call for me as to how much things cost. I think, ah its just money If anyone hasn't bought tickets yet, if you buy online in the promo code put 'facebook'. Not sure if its still working as was supposed to expire end of January but I bought the tickets last week an it got $3 off per ticket (I think, might have been $5). Worth a shot anyway Mods feel free to move this if its in the wrong place Cheers Laura Saving and loading up on info at this stage... Started yesterday, and I'm about to head in to Brisbane to visit it. Went to a home show about 5 or 6 years ago, just to look around with no real idea of what I was doing there, other than getting ideas to possibly renovate well down the track. Now we're owner-building, we'll be looking at things in a different way. Owner Building at Jimboomba Woods in Logan City Qld. I found out that Home Base expo is a short walk from the Subiaco train station, so was like, well we got tickets, we'll go look and go to home base expo after. Had a REALLY good time and didn't end of going to Home base after all. I could see why people didn't like it, but it was good for me and hubby to start doing the whole, ok what do you like and dislike conversation. Next time we off together, it's home base for us Saving and loading up on info at this stage... Re: HIA Perth Home show this week 18Aug 09, 2014 6:30 pm My Partner and I did go to HIA Perth Home show Friday 8th August. After getting tickets online for $10 ($12 at Door) - we were expecting a huge home show. Exhibitor + entrant patrons pay to attend. HIA Perth Home show Café expensive. The home show organizers must be laughing all the way to the bank. Seems these shows are becoming so expensive that exhibitors cannot afford to attend and now they charge entry. Pay more and see less. The end result was disappointing. My partner and I have attended better home shows in Brisbane for free. We both agree that we will not go again. 10 12322 Hi Everyone I learned something this week that I thought would be worth sharing.
