I love Basalt, but I think dune and woodland grey go well together cos they're are more contrasting, and both have brown hues in them Re: Colour bond colour scheme 4Feb 10, 2014 5:42 pm I would say that with the colours you have in mind, you'll easily find a great scheme that has already been painted on a display home (ie. carefully chosen by a professional designer). Both times we built we hunted around the display home areas to find 'the look' for us. Once we found the right external colour scheme, we just asked the display home builder what all the external colours were, which they happily told us. (Render, roof, gutters, facia, down pipes etc). It works a treat and avoids regrets.. and you have the added bonus of driving past the display home again and again to get excited about the finished look of your build.
