We have rubbish water pressure in our home particularly to the centre island kitchen sink and the upstairs bath (which takes 18 minutes to half fill). Not to mention the instantaneous HWS shower keep going cold.
It has been discovered today after 8 months of to-ing and fro-ing between builder and plumber scratching their heads, doing tests and disconnecting pipes under sinks etc that the pressure at the mains source (before it goes through the water meter) is only 190 kpi (next door neighbours is 180kpi!!!)
The development consists of only 30 homes which are survey strata lots.
My question is, firstly why would it be so low?
and secondly who is responsible for the low pressure eg. water corp or the plumbing company who did the initial works of the development?
If the plumber completed all works correctly and in line with the guidelines/regulations, what then?
Needless to say more than ticked off about this.
Thoughts/advice please
