Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jan 27, 2014 10:38 pm Hi we lived in our shed for three years prior to building. We are now wanting to convert the shed accommodation to a double garage. The accommodation area is stud frame and gyprock inside a wide span shed. We need to remove a load bearing wall that separated the lounge area from the bedroom to fit the cars in. Would like to keep the gyprock ceiling and perimeter walls. Who would we contact to do this type of job? The accommodation was already constructed before we purchased the block. If you are altering the load bearing componet of the wall you will need a licenced builder/engineer else any contractor or you could do it. -mick Quote: I Have Done So Much With So Little For So Long, I Can Do Almost Anything With Nothing Now.
