Can you tell me what the order of stud strength is of MGP10, MGP12, F5 and F7 treated pine is? I've looked all over online and can't fine some sort of list that puts it in order.
In order characteristic values for design strength High->low
The number refers to the Average Modulus of Elasticity (E)
MGP15, MGP10, F7 & F5 AS 1720 Appendix Tables H

MGP is Machine Grade tested , while F is not and visually graded
Thanks.
It sounds like the chippy may have substituted grades because , ie. left over from another job, shortage, cost, etc..who knows?
It depends on the structural element/member in question, It could be OK for Stud Framing but not for timber trusses.
