The unit sits on top of the roof and there are vents in various rooms in the house. The house was built in 1985 and the air conditioning appears to be quite an old one as it seems to have limited options, which are basically 1: On / Off 2: Fan On / Off 2: Cool / On / Off We have had a week of +40 deg days here in Adelaide and the air conditioner appears to be working fine, but I was wondering if there is any regular maintenance required on them? Cheers, Robbie How do you remove one of these ceiling air con vents? And is it possible to disconnect the duct joined to the vent from inside the house, without going into the roof cavity? 0 5899 Hi all, sorting out the ducted air con for a 350sqm double story house.
