Hey guys,
Just wanted to post some exciting news! As you all know we have been on the lookout for land for well over 4 months now and in that time the base price of my home has gone up by $5000, not to mention the cost of upgrades
We have been looking and looking and every block seems to have a problem; too narrow, not long enough, no driveway, too expensive, horrible street etc etc
Well today I have come across a beauty - right size 15.5m x 36.8m, great street, driveway already made and most importantly the right price range!
I have emailed the real estate to get the current setback as it looks a bit further than 5m, but the 2 neighbours look slightly closer so I'm hoping we can get 5, leaving us a bit over 9m in length for the backyard.
Fingers (and toes) this is the one
Oh and out of interest what do you think we should do in regards to the offer we put in (if all goes well)....our budget is 'X' and the house is advertised as 'Y' (30K less than X) to 'Z; (10k more than X)?
Do people generally only sell b4 auction if they get an offer higher than the advertised price?
