Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Getting a cubby from the neighbours: not so simple! 9Jan 12, 2014 7:44 pm Hi so sorry but I'm laughing my head off! Ok so about 10 years ago we sold our cubby to strangers from what used to be the trading post! Our housed backed onto council land and the buyers where able to park their car with trailer just on the other side of the fence. (A couple with two small children ,) the cubby like yours was in excellent condition and the buyers didn't want to dismantle, neither did we particularly. So we organised for 8strong friends to come over and lift this cubby over the fence, omg!!! It was the funniest thing you have ever seen it was like 8 three stooges! Looking back it was quite dangerous however we managed with a lot of grunting, swearing and yelling to get it up And over once it was balanced on the rather small trailer that the buyers had bought with them and tied down so as it would not move a inch.everyone was relieved and luckily no one hurt the buyers paid us the money and just as we all were saying goodbye the little girl about 4 years old says out loud , Oh mummy the CHICKENS are gunna love their new house You could have cut the air with a knife!!! Lol our friends still to this day have a laugh about the cubby over the fence , that was actually going to be a chicken coop! good luck lol Thanks.
