We were supposed to start siteworks last week St Leonards and went to visit the lot ahead of it to find that the builder next door is using our block to deliver their supplies as well to dump their trash in. The site is not even accessible. On the footpath in front of our lot was all the ceiling panels for the garage and the wood to finish off the ceiling was up on saw horses in the back of our lot. (If it was just during the day and they had cleaned up before they left I would not have been upset)
I called the builder on a monday whose receptionist said the case manager would 'ring me back'. Heard nothing , so went into the builder. The case manager didn't even bother to come out to see me. Again receptionist said 'she will ring you back' I didn't get any calls back. I visited the site midweek to find MORE stuff had been delivered on to our site and nothing had been cleaned up! So I cleaned up what I could lifting up to 30kg slabs of cement leftover from their slab, lots of wood offcuts, empty bags, etc etc etc. I called again Thursday...and got the offer to stay on hold (as I had yet to receive a call back from her) Mostly got 'Will talk to Site manager, are you sure its ours?"
SO went to site Yesterday and guess what...MORE of their stuff has been delivered onto site. Ceiling tiles Well enroaching into our land by 2-3 metres. Our site power was installed yesterday and well these tiles can seriously impact us starting now. Every delay is going to cost us in extra rent money each week! I called the builder and she was all in denial that her "Site supervisor didn't see anything (Obviously hired someone who is blind) but a pile of sand (which had been put there by them) and that the tiles 'can't be theirs because they are not even at roof stage yet! " (So I guess I own some new tiles, shall I put them on gumtree?) So not only is the builder rude, but the case manager has no clue what stage her house is at. It is INDEED ready for roof tiling and they were placed on that side of the property. Also they are blaming the people delivering to site, that its their fault not the builders. Well No other builder in the neighborhood seems to be having issues with keeping stuff on their own property.
Now in WA this is called Enroachment of property, but have to go through a grievance procedure which takes two weeks to do anything about it. Usually by then the builder supplies will be used up and you have already been delayed two weeks.

Has anyone gotten anywhere dealing with situations like this?
Not a great start to neighborly relations alas...
