Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Nov 04, 2013 10:11 pm Hey all, Super new to the forum and wanting to pick the brains of anyone who has built in Brisbane. Looking at purchasing land around the Caboolture area and building on it next year. Just wondering which builders would service the Caboolture area? Of course I know of the bigger/more popular companies- Coral, Dixon, Ausbuild but Im after info/experiences on those plus any ones I may have missed. Google isn't being too helpful (or maybe Im just not putting in the right stuff!) Standard single story 4 bed/2 bath/ 2 car garage type of setup. Hoping to max the house section at around 230k. Thanks in advance everyone, I hate feeling like a noob! Re: QLD/Brisbane house builder- options/experiences.. Cabool 3Nov 09, 2013 3:56 pm We used Plantation Homes on Bribie. Not far from you. Slip over to North Lakes or Rochedale and have a look at the display houses. We are fairly happy with result - 8/10. Or drive over to Bribie and buy a ticket in the Mater homes raffle. There are good homes for sale at good prices IMO. And you live on an Island with all mod-cons and everything you need. A good range of house - 1 and 2 story. http://www.plantationhomes.com.au/ Re: QLD/Brisbane house builder- options/experiences.. I hadnt thought of Plantation or Bold. Looks likes we've found our land though!! 1.5ac Upper Caboolture. Build next year but definitely liking the look of some of the Plantation and Bold designs- I think we'll be capping the house to 250k and under which gives us left over $$ for fencing off a paddock, building the stable and adding the couple horses Hi all.
