I'm replacing our timber sleepers with heavy duty concrete sleepers in our retaining walls, and also cleaning up and rust-guarding the I-beams. The timber sleepers are out and concrete sleepers are arriving this week, but one thing I'm not sure about, since our wall is sloping, is it better to start stacking at the short or long end first? At first I thought the long end, which has 8 sleepers, but now I'm thinking the short end, which has 5, since it might be easier to line them up right, but really not sure Any advice?
