The husband was busily working away in the front garden. Everywhere I look, there's evidence of hard work, trying to beautify the place. But it all looks like crap!


So often, I see people jumping on the DIY band-wagon, and tackling all sorts of jobs, that really should be left to professionals.
I'm not saying a good job can't be done by a DIYer, (and not all professionals' work is too great either). Its just that not having the knowledge, tools or experience can so often lead to an outcome that is a false economy, or in many cases, an ill conceived disaster.
I'm just saying to think carefully, and consider if you really have what it takes to do it properly, and if you're not sure, get in the professional tradies.
