Hi,
I waterproofed a planter box with Dampfix Gold, but the planter box had some leaks (not necessarily to do with the product itself), but probably more to do with the application, as it went on uneven surfaces, I think there were some little pin holes.
I've now emptied and cleaned the planter box, some parts of the water proof have come away from the concrete and bricks, and have identified some small holes. I need to re waterproof the planter box, but am unsure as to what to do.
Can I apply any other waterproof membrane on top of the Dampfix Gold? Do I need to apply a primer to this first? Do I need to use Dampfix Gold again? I'm getting conflicting responses from waterproofers, and was hoping someone can help. I want to make sure this is done correctly so I dont have to empty the planter box again.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
