I'm looking for a new drill driver set and deciding between Hitachi, Panasonic and Metabo. Any ideas?
Here are my options:
Hitachi - DV18DSFL and WH18DSAL 18Volt, 1.5aH battery - 1 year warranty - $330
Metabo - BS18 and SSD18 18Volt, 2.2aH battery - 3 year warranty. = $330
Panasonic - EY74A1 and EY75A1 - takes 14.4V or 18V batteries but includes 2 x 1.5aH 14.4v batteries - roughly $420
I know that Panasonic are supposed to be the best, but this is $90 more with only 14.4V batteries - though I could get an 18V battery for it later if I need.
Will I miss much with the 14.4V Panasonic. And will it last that much longer than the others? Also, if I go Hitachi/Metabo, any suggestions?
