Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Sep 25, 2013 7:34 pm Hi everyone!! I'm back on here 3 years after handover, searching for answers and tips and inspiration and came across my old blog. Can't believe it's only been 3 years since I last posted about our house finally being handed over and all done and complete. It was a gorgeous house. Yes.. I say ... WAS... as we've sold and moved! Oh the stress... oh the fun... oh the worry and frustration of building your own home. And now it's sold. And we have a new home in the country . We loved our new house, but in our hearts we knew it was only a temporary living situation. Not enough space for the kids to grow. Not enough fresh air for me to breathe. No room for horses . The house we're living in now is our FOREVER home. And we absolutely love it!! Rusty gutters, leaky rainwater tank, outdated kitchen and all!! (And yes, it has a stable!!) We are only 20 mins away from our old house (it was new 3 years ago, and now it's 'old'). But we feel like we are light years away from our old life. 4 acres, 20 year old 6 bed 3 bath house, 6 mins from work. 7 mins from the kids school. We LOVE it!!!!! Somedays I sit on the loo (weird?).... and look around and am still amazed by the space and how lucky we are to have this house. BUT!! There is heaps to do and renovate and change... always have to have a project to look towards. Hi again, and can't wait to see what you are all up to these days!!
