Browse Forums General Discussion Re: Building in Hunter Region with Coral Homes 21Nov 26, 2013 9:58 pm So an update.....we have just paid to have a floor plan and tender drawn up for a double storey (Bronte 40 - with changes). After seeing the final plan plotted on our land for the single storey home we were concerned that we might not have enough backyard for the kids - which is why we bought the block in the first place. So we still have the tender and plan for the Single Storey Bribie (VERY modified) and will get the Double Storey Bronte done as well. Then......we will need to decide! The process is slow and it's difficult to be patient. Hopefully we'll know which way we want to go after Christmas! Keen to hear from people in the area who have got KDRB done on whom they got the build from? Looking for recommendations. Thanks 0 21051 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13723 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 1693 |
