The problem I spoke about before tends to be more grey but that could just be the brand of cement used in Sydney vs Melbourne etc too. There are places you can send samples of concrete , mortar etc and they can analyse it and give you an idea of its composition/strength etc. Stewie Re: Mortar Issues ?? 5Aug 12, 2013 8:32 pm That's interesting, I've seen blue patches in our DIY mowing strips and garden edging, it has faded and cos it was only the edging we didn't worry about finding out what it was, but it looks pretty freaky when you first notice it.
