Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 29, 2013 11:25 am I have a painted plywood door (i.e. two sheets of plywood, empty space between) to which I want to attach an automatic door seal. I am worried that if I attach the door seal using the nails provided that the plywood will just tear off (as it is not very thick). I was wondering if I attached it with liquid nails whether I would have the same issue or which this would stick OK? Also would I have to sand back the paint (so that the glue was adhering directly to the plywood rather than the paint)? I can't tell how large the frame is though (by knocking it etc) and so am not sure that I would be drilling into the frame (as opposed to just into the plywood).
