Browse Forums General Discussion 1 Jul 28, 2013 6:35 pm The grout has failed on the shower floor in one of our bathrooms. This is the worst part. There is a distinctive line that runs the length to the tiles so I'm pretty sure water is penetrating - have stopped using this shower just in case. Landscaping yes - Tiling NFI. Grout won't stop water penetration, that is why there is waterproof membrane under tiles. It is something that you can have a go at yourself. For about $20 you can get a diamond grout removing tool and the same colour grout mix.
